Configure a JDBC-ODBC bridge by java code

Is it possible to configure th JDBC-ODBC bridge on my computer using java code ?

I mean, Can an appllication detect that theres no bridge configured to access to a concrete database , an then configure it dinamically using it's own source code ?

What I'm triying to do is an application to connect to an ACCESS database. But I've notice that every time I take my app. to another PC, I have to configure the bridge on that PC.
