Cool Access 2000 File Browsing

I have a access 2000 database that needs to be accessible to various people and therefore must reside on a network drive. There is the need to browse to a particular file somewhere on the network and set it as a hyperlink. Through the previous advise of other users I am able to easily browse to the required file but the path is unique to the computer that the link was generated on since the network drive map is not necessarily the same on each user's computer. Is there a way for the hyperlink to include the server name rather than the drive map?

Thanks
