I am trying to access Progress database on a UNIX machine from Win2000 machine. Where can I find documentation on using Progress database? Are there any books avail? I have never used Progress before. I am using the merant driver. Also is there an SQL client avail that I can use to cnnect to Progress and execute SQL Queries?

What is the actual problem here. Is this an ODBC connection issue or using the Progress tools to access the database. You indicate the merant drivers hence why the ODBC. If its an ODBC issue, you'd need to check with Merant/Data Direct and also via the main Progress site.

What version of Progress are you using?
