Access 2002 To VB

Is there a Way to convert an Access 2002 application into some sort of self executable program. I don't want users to have to open acces or even have access on their terminals in order to be able to run the forms.

I've seen a program from Diamond Edge that converts access to vb and then I guess from that I would be able to create a exe file but the programs costs about $695 us .
