Progressive data conversion

I am currently working on a project that needs data from a progress database. I'm hoping to convert it to some sort of text or access database. I have no idea how to do it. I have the data currently on my system, but no progressive client. Is there some sort of conversion utility or do i have to go back to the native location and do it from there?
