I have an ingres database on a hpux11i platform. How can I check the version of ingres?

One of 2 possible ways

1 cd $II_SYSTEM/ingres, cat version.rel - This will tell you version, gen level and last patch applied

2 sql iidbdb - this will tell you ingres version and gen level in the blurb before the * prompt - \q to get out (if you didn't know that!)
