sir i just want to ask this is urgent in my job i had a prblem, i used access as my backend database and visual basic for front end.. my prblem is my boss assign the fieldname fldidnumber as a text data type, it's very easy if it is a number or autonumber, but it is a text data type. example when i click new button in the vb interface the last record of the field id number is 6, when i update it became 7, what will i do sir please help me, and so on.tnx sir please help me
