Problem regarding Security.

I have a web site hosted on Web HAVING PHP and Mysql Database, I want to upload data from Server using WS_FTP_PRO and want to dowload data from that remote web site to my Mobile having anywhere in this country now the problem is From Mobile to Connect through Web server we are using GPRS. I want only the thing that is there any layer that can secure US up to SSL layer or any web server which are providing us the More security than SSL
