differences is listbox behavior between diffenent versions of Access

Could anyone please tell me if there are any major changes in the way that Access an Access listbox is populated between different versions of Access i.e 2000 vs 2002. For some reason the .additem meathod works in Access 2002 but throws an error when running it in 2000. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
