Question Pervasive SQL + Crystal

Hello,

we are using crystal report within our application for printing and Pervasive SQL (Native) as Database. It works fine under Windows but !! on linux we have big troubles with error 12 - file not found.

The error occurs if we try to open a long file name. We have no problems with files having 8.3 filenames.

Out development-system can open all files, only crystal report has problems

We found a workaround setting links from the short to the long filename. But this is no solution.

It is not possible for us to use the ODBC-Gateway, sorry.

We think the a smithware-dll could be the problem but found not solution until now.

Many thanks for your replays
Gottfried

Crystal using the Btrieve native driver is going to use the Btrieve API. Do you have embedded spaces in the path? If so, try changing the "Embedded Spaces" setting in the PCC Client configuration section.
