Unable to open table: X$View (Can't access View Properties from CC)

Psv8.6

Using the Control Center, I can create a view, and run it after it is saved, but I cannot open the properties for it. The error I get is “Unable to open table: X$View.” Is this a file permission problem? If so, what file (and what permissions) do I need to set permissions on? Thanks in advance

X$View error solved

Yes I finally figured it out. Not the problem, but the solution at least. First off, the table X$View is associated with a View.DDF file that will be created when you create your first view for a database. So that explains why I couldn't find a file called X$View (Documentation? Blah I say!). So I checked the permissions on this file and they were fine. Nothing left but to delete it and let Pervasive re-create it. Once that was done, the new views I re-created could access their properties without error.
