What are you looking to do? Are you trying to use ODBC or get to the data outside of DacEasy? If so, you should look for DDFs. They'll define the record structure for ODBC.

Here's a few links:
http://www.pervasive.com - Pervasive/Btrieve home page
http://www.goldstar-sw.com/btrvodbc.asp - Goldstar Software's white paper on ODBC access to Btrieve files.
If you need DDFs (don't have the) for DacEasy, you need to contact them and get the DDFs from them.

DDFs are Data Dictionary Files and they describe the record structure for ODBC/Crystal/ or Anything that needs access to the files outside of the application.
The connection string depends on what interface (ODBC/OLEDB) you are using. Since you're using VB, check out this white paper: http://www.pervasive.com/documentati...Whitepaper.pdf
