I have to linked dbs. I'd like to modify the properties of one of the tables but I can't do this while they are linked.

I've found instructions to select the table and click delete to delete the link. The instructions say that the table still exists but that it just disapears from the list. Unfortuneately if I can't see it on the list I can't select it for modifying.

I've found other instructions to make a copy of the table but when I do this I still get the links.

What I'd like to do is:

add an autonumber field to be used as the primary key in the front end and back end tables

re-establish the links.
