Thumbs down Returning FIRST row

in Pervasive SQL, does anyone know how to return the first row in the query.

similar to the scalar function First() in MS Access.

Thanks!

What version of Pervasive? If it's V8, you can use the TOP keyword. Just out of curiosity, why are you wanting only the first record in a result set?

I'm not aware of anything for 2000i.

Just out of curiosity, why are you wanting only the first record in a result set?
