DefaultDB missing

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the 8.6 WGE several times. The DefaultDB never appears in PCC. It does show up in Maintain named databases and I can see it in dbnames.cfg with a hex editor? Any clues?

PCC displays databases based on the ODBC DSN not the DB Name. If you don't have a DefaultDB ODBC DSN, create a System DSN pointing to the DefaultDB DBName. The only time I've seen the DSN not created is when the DBName already exists and isn't overwritten by the install. You can also clear any DefaultDB and DEMODATA DSNs and DBNames and rerun the "DTODSNSETUP.vbs" script file in PVSW\BIN.
