Hi,

I am trying to import / transfer data from a pervasive database (ver 8.6) to MS SQL 2005 for data analysis and assimilation with other data.

SQL 2005 has changed of course and you now have to use SSIS service in V. Studio to build the interface between the two databases. I am trying to use an OLE DB connection but cannot seem to create a join. I have manage to create the Pervasive server, and can view the tables under the server, even the table columns and their properties.

However when I create a Datareader Source, I get the following error....

"Could not retrieve table information for the connection manager...
'D:\APPS\PLATINUM\WPLUK\FILE.DDF'
Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt (System.Data)"

Anyone any pointers?
