Pervasive 9.1 Server/Client Config

I do not know if my Pervasive server and clients is cofigured correctly.
Can someone please let me know how to configure correctly for my
network...
1. P4 2.8Mhz Server, 2Gb Memmory, Win 2000 Server, 4x scsi harddrives,
(All Magic data files is on server) Just a file server!

2. Magic 3.9 and PSQL 9.1

3. 50 clients and sometime less on local network.

4. 10 Terminal Server users running magic on the server.
(Magic runtime was installed on the server like on an ordenary
client pc. The remote users then connects with TS and runs magic on
the server with all having their own ini.)

Any help or sugestions would be great...
Thanks

Are you having problems? If so, what?
Why do you feel the Pervasive may not be configured correctly?

I had a problem where if some clients did transaction on Magic9.3, onley the header of the form is printed, and magic just hangs.
I then did following on client pc and it worked...
Under Performance Tuning:
Enabled > Use Cache Engine
Disabled > Verify Key Length

I also want to config Pervasive Server and Client side for following reasons :
- Get better performance(Close to optimal)
- To prevent future problems and ceep things running smooth
- Prevent data and file corruption and problems most i can

I just want to do as a thorough a job as possable....

Thanx

Is this an application you developed? If no, you should contact the vendor of the application for ideal settings.
For the most part, the settings out of the box are going to meet your three goals. However, settings typically won't prevent data or file corruption with Pervasive. Usually, file corruption is caused by hardware issues (drive going bad, network card corrupting data, etc). Data corruption, where incorrect data is written to the database, is usually caused when an application doesn't validate the data before sending it to the database.

Ok, thanks for the update and crash course.....

Magic 9.3 is a runtime invironment on witch we run our programs.
We develop the programs ourselfs with eDeveloper, the development program for Magic 9.3.
e used to Run Btrieve and Magic 9.3 together, and now we got Pervasive9.1
to go with magic9.3.

Can you mabe please comment on the following changes i made in the config of Pervasive9.1?

Thanks allot..
