Unhappy Password reset

I recently upgraded from Pervasive 8 to Pervasive 9.1. When I did this a database that I had set up for use with a report generator mysteriously became password protected. I am the system administrator and am the only individual in our facility that has access to this. Securities for the database had not been set up yet as I am still configuring the report writer. I have tried every username and password I can think of and nothing works. Can I delete the database and re-create it? Or, is there someway I can reset the password? I have two separate databases set up but this situation only affected one of them. If someone could please assist me I would greatly appreciate it.

First, what happens if you leave the user/password blank?
Second, Pervasive installs don't change any database settings (like security).
Third, does the PCC ask for a username/password?

password reset

Thank for your response:
1. If I leave the username and password blank it will not let me in.

2. I certainly did not expect any securities to be changed by the upgrade but apparently a username and password is now required that was not required when I access the database prior to the upgrade.

3. Yes even using PCC a username and password are now being required.

What's the error when you leave it blank?
What DDF files do you have in the directory for this database?
Have you tried the user "Master" with no password?

password reset

When I leave it blank I get the error:
[LNA]{Pervasive][ODBC Engine Interface][Data Record Manager] Invalid user authorization specification.

When I use "Master" and no password, I get the exact same error.

The application that I am pulling the data from is called Answers On Demand and it is written in magic. The ddf files are various types: Including DDF, MST,PRM,DAT etc...

Did anything else change on this system when you upgraded the PSQL engine?
Also, which DDFs exist (FILE, FIELD, etc)?
