Has anyone done an upgrade from Pervasive SQL 2000 to v9.5 and aware or encountered of any issues/limitations?

WHat interface does your application use (Btrieve,ODBC,etc)?
As far as the engin itself, the install is fairly easy anfd straight forward. Make sure you update the clients as well as the server (if you're using client/server).

Thanks for that info. To answer your question, here is our set up.

- Base application is developed by a third party. I think they used Btrieve interface.

- In-house applications are developed for purposes of query, reporting, replication to SQL Server, etc. The older ones uses Btrieve, the newer ones uses ODBC (ADO in code).

You mentioned straight forward, how about on the table level, are they straight forward as well? Is there is special conversion required?

From a data perspective, you shouldn't need to do anything unless your data files are in v5.x format. PSQL v9.x doesn't write to v5.x files (only reads them).

I would strongly recommend testing in a test environment before upgrading your production server. Just to be safe.
