Pervasive client slow to open tables

I am having trouble with a computer that runs Sage BusinessWorks with a Pervasive database on a network server. I believe it is v9 of Pervasive and v7 of BusinessWorks. The computer takes forever to open tables of the database. I ran a test and it would connect to the DB in less than a second but to open a table took 20+ seconds. Inside the program it takes days to do anything, just the other day it was working fast. Nothing that I know of has been changed but I'm assuming it some setting that is tripping it up. The hard drive will seek data the entire time it's trying to open the tables, I thought that was strange. Does anyone know a solution to this? Thanks!

Sounds like you've got tracing turned on.
I would suggest checking the ODBC Administrator for ODBC Tracing and the Pervasive Debugging settings in the PCC for MKDE tracing.

THis would be at the server (where the data resides).

ODBC Tracing was turned on for the client machine, switched it off and everything works great! Thank you again mirtheil!
