I have a huge problem with the speed of a query being executed via ODBC.

The dataset is 2.67 gig. The data stored is financial populated by a program called Pastel Partner. The data resides on a server:
Windows Server 2008 Sp2 64 Bit
4Gig Mem
Pervasive V10.10.125 (64 bit)

We use a reporting tool Alchemex which extract data via ODBC. The report we have have been running succesfulley for a number of years until we upgraded a week ago from a 32 bit server running pervasive 8.6.

The report use to run for 4 minutes. No problem. Now, we dont get a result.
Even via the contol center. Nothing. Just runs and runs.

When you take the same dataset and copy it to another machine (Win 7 Pervasive 9). The query executes in 4 minutes. WTF.

Any help PLEASE!!!!!!

First thing I would suggest would be to update to PSQL 10.3 SP3 with the latest patch release (10.31 Update 10) from Pervasive PSQL v10.
Second, did anything else change when you upgraded to PSQL 10?
Third, how long does the query take if you run it at the server using Pervasive COntrol Center?

2. No, Except from the platform change 32bit -> 64 bit
3. I have the same problem in PCC.

The weird thing is that when I run it on my laptop on the same data, I have no issues (pervasive 9.5 32 bit on Win 7 prof).

So you installed PSQL v10 64 bit on the same hardware as the v8.6?
Have you tried PSQL v11? There have been significant performance increases in v11 over v10.
