Btrieve API and marshaling in VB.Net

Has anyone had any experience using the Btrieve API with VB.Net?

Does marshaling work for Btrieve API as for Windows API?
Has anyone had experience/success using the Btrieve ActiveX controls
in place of trying to call the Btrieve API directly in VB.Net?

Any info would be greatly appreciated
