Our company tested a segment of Ethernet clients set to auto negotiate, and we got desktop memory and I/O errors for an application that uses Pervasive 7 database engine. (I havent checked the pvsw.log)

The executable that is associated with the pervasive database connection is dissapearring or goes into a not responding state.

The client segment is linking back to a Ethernet/Token Ring converter switch and Token Ring is still being used at the Server that houses the Pervasive Database.

We are considering running a ethernet line up client segment switch and trying to run pure ethernet and test from there.

Although a main concern is can we run both a token ring and ethernet topologies on the Pervasive server.

Does anyone have any comments about this issue?
