btrieve error

Hello,
We have a vendor software called RCS Cash Register being used by our cashiers for collecting money related to different taxes (real estate, personal property etc) and decals, parking tickets etc.
This software has Btrieve (7.0) for its backend which currently resides on a network server. It's been years since we are using this application. But off late, we keep getting a lot of errors.

One of the errors is "Btrieve Error:3110 on SYSREG_Network.GetEqual in RSBLUP - 0014"

Most of the errors seem to be caused due to loss of connectivity with the backend. Why does this happen? Is it possible that the database is corrupted or it needs to be re-built? Is it possible that its some kind of memory problem?

Please help.

this is a pure network error and has nothing to do with corrupted tables or insufficient memory. Maybe your network adapter is broken or you got a problem with the network cable.
