pervasive database rebuild

i need to rebuild a database on a local server purely from pervasive .MKD file.. Is this possible?

I have installed a clean version of Pervasive 2000i and copied all the database files from another server. I need to make a copy of the database that was running on that other server, on my own local server. I have copied all the .MKD files and three .DDF files.

I tried to copy those ddf files into the database root dir, but when I want to open the database i get a ODBC error, which could be understandable since the remote server is using ODBC i dont use.

So, who can tell me how to make a copy of that remote database locally, based on purely copying files.

Or is there another way?

help is truly appreciated!
