Red face Multiple user issues on new install

Our company has just moved to Pervasive 2000 on Novell 5.1. I had a user open up his application and it worked fine. However, when a second user opens up his application the first user begins to experience problems. I guess it would be described best as being "locked out" by the second user. Have any of the forum members ever run into a similar problem?

Thanks,

John

We have a similar issue which has me completely stumped and the vendor is not much help. We have numerous Windows 95 machines that can connect to application and the Pvsw 2000 database with no issues. When we try to set up an XP client, the client will lock the file and no other users can get in. When other users are already signed on and you try to open a connection from the application you receive an error '9-065' stating that the file cmaster.dat has been opened for exclusive use by another connection. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd greatly appreciate it.
