I am having some issues with performance utilizing Pervasive ODBC driver specifically with updating. I have noticed that when I issue an update statement that other users are locked out of the table (through linked server) until the transaction is complete. I am experiencing slow response times as well. Are there any settings that I could take advantage of to improve these issues? Either on the ODBC driver, Pervasive tables or SQL Server.
