Question Key number 0 out of range error

Hi,

I am working with our systems administrator and we have come upon a problem when trying to load Avanti on our workstations. It seems to load fine, but then gives us the following error:

"Attempting to access a file that is NOT open.

Btrieve key number 0 out of range
in the file.

As a result of this error, the system will now shut down."

We can't find any information on this error nor can we find a way to fix it. We are working with version 7. Anyone have any ideas???

Thanks in advance!

Re: Key number 0 out of range error

Hi,

Could you give a bit more information?

What is Avanti?
What version of Pervasive.SQL are you using? You mention version 7, but I am not sure if you mean Avanti V7 or Pervasive.SQL 7.
Are you doing client/server activities?

Also, since Pervasive.SQL 7 is no longer supported, we do not have a full documentation set available online. However, we do have the following manuals available should you need to reference them:
