Help - The MicroKernel or Btrieve Requester is inactive

I instaled the pervasive 2000i, and i´m trying to run an aplication in a win 98 S.O.
But when i run the aplication i get a error 20 - The MicroKernel or Btrieve Requester is inactive.
What can i do??

If you're getting a status 20 from a Windows based application with Pervasive.SQL 2000 (or later), then you've got old components being loaded.
If this is a 16 bit application, search for WBTRCALL.DLL and remove all copies except those in the PVSW\BIN directory.
For 32 bit applications, look for WBTRV32.DLL and do the same.
