Dos programm and Request

Hi,

First I want to explain that I’m not a very familiar with Pervasive or SQL in common.

I have a Server with NT Server on it and I installed Pervasive SQL200I on it and installed the dos program with his database.

On the workstation with NT Workstation on it I have a Dos program installed.

What I eschewed is that it's working over ip I can log on with multiple computers to the database of the program.

I shared a map on the server (where the dos program is installed) and with the breqtcp.exe on the client I can access de database files of the dos program.

But is there a way to make a connection to the files without sharing a map? And how do I do this?

I rather don't want to share a map because I want to make use from the internet.

Is it possible to convert the database files that are stored in the map of the dos program so I can use them in a Pervasive SQL 200I made database?

I hope this question will be understood otherwise I can give more information.

Greeting from Holland, Hendrik
