Question PHP On Linux, Fedora, Ubuntu

Hi . . .

I have just installed PHP5 and Apache Server on Red Hat Linux 9.0
In the same way, I was trying to install it on Fedora and Ubuntu but i fail to do such things.
Can you explain me why???
there are no errors while installing . . .

Can you please provide some more info. We don't know how you attempted to install PHP, nor do we know your extent of install. Please provide your methods of install.

try installing XAMPP instead
there must be some errors reported somewhere
have you checked the log files
