Unanswered: psqlODBC problem
I have a web application written in vbscript/asp running on IIS5/win2k (which unfortunately I can't change!). I am running a postgresql backend database on a separate server.
I have installed and successfully used the psqlodbc driver for a while, but recently the site has had a *lot* more traffic.
The driver seems to stop creating connections (throwing a wierd odbc error SQL_CONNECT or SQL_ALLOC) under heavy loads.
The postgresql database has enough available connections because I have checked that setting in postgres and checked the stats in the database.
Does anyone have any experience of this platform combination and if the driver is stable enough for this environment?
Or are there any setting I have missed somewhere in the driver?
Having been delighted at the performance and features of the linux/postgres combo I am let down by a simple driver
