    Unanswered: Execution cancelled --ODBC--

OK, where to start, *SIGH* i have been having troubles doing ODBC's for a while now... --- I have some more ODBC trouble threads out there which i cannot find at the moment due to the broken search ) ... A new one has popped up today "Execution cancelled" (run-time error '3669' if that makes anyone happy?! )

It rips up my code on this line: Set rst = qry.OpenRecordset
While i have Error trapping in place to stop it from crashing (Re above thread)
    Code:
        On Error GoTo Reconnect
        Set rst = qry.OpenRecordset
        On Error GoTo 0
    Questions are:
    1) The simplest question, the hardest answer. Why is it ignoring the errortrapping?
    2) Why would it throw this error, now after running for 2 weeks error-less with the trapping and even longer without the trapping before that...
    3) What is this error "execution cancelled"? Is it trapable?
    4) What can i do to prevent it?

    Nightmares ..... *AAAAAAARGH* more nightmares...
    I wish i learned a real profesion....

    Regards

I have been able to narrow the search a bit, it seems to be an XP issue.
When running on A97, no problems.. a bit slow.... but no errors.
When running on AXP, it runs for a bit... then gets stuck and runs the error.... i am guessing a timeout at this point....

It still is not an excuse for ignoring the error trapping... but am 1 step closer...

    Regards
