    Unanswered: Date and number of weeks

    I need help with a formula/expression. Within a date field I have for example 020304. I need an expression that will look at this date, the date of 05/31/04 and give me the number of weeks inbetween to a "weeks active" field.

    I hope that makes sense, could anyone help me with this please.

    Thank you ahead of time.

    are you sure its a date/time field and not text field? I mean the first field you mentioned.

    yes, I meant date/time. The format of the first field is 01/01/2004 for example. I have somewhat of an idea but my formula of:

    =DateDiff("ww",[PCONTMST Active]![DATE]",5/31/2004)

    is not working.

    Essentially there is a date within the [PCONTMST Active]![DATE] field and I need to know the # of weeks between that field date and 05/31/2004

    Try this one and lets see if it works;

    =DateDiff("ww",[PCONTMST Active]![DATE],#5/31/2004#)
    ghozy.
