Thumbs up Unanswered: Searching for Robust DB

When the machine running our s/w crashes due to power failure or any other reason the db gets corrupted and we have to recreate the db from the back up, this also considerably slows up the startup process.
we have tried our hand at lot of db's but we are facing the same problem with them. I have heard that Daffodil DB is quite Robust. Please provide some suggestions.

Daffodil DB comes with an Automatic Crash Recovery system so data will be secure at the time of system crashes. You may not recover the data which is uncommitted at the time of system crashes but database remain stable till you have last committed the database.

If system crashes during the commit process the entire data will be recovered automatically when the system is strarted again.
