Let me preface this post by stating that I am not a developer but a support person. I did not write the program involved nor can I change it.
My company has an app that reads data from a SQL Server DB and presents it in reports developed using Crystal 7. The version of this app was developed 3 -4 years ago for use with Windows 95/98 and NT.
One of these reports presents the user the option of selecting date range criteria. When installed on Windows 2000 or XP, when the user tries to access these date range reports, the app either crashes entirely, or skips to a blank report without popping up the date selection window.
The crystal reports that do not rely on the entry of date range parameters work ok.
Is this a dll compatibility issue? I have tried a number of versions of p2sodbc.dll's and they have no effect.
