    this?

    I tried it with DB2 connect but It is also not working. Is there any patch
    available that can make it workin?
    My operating system is Windows 2000.

    Try

    UNCATALOG DATABASE <DBNAME>;
    CATALOG DATABASE <DBNAME> AS <DBALIASNAME> AT NODE <INSTANCENAME>;

    Hope this helps,
