    Unanswered: DataBase Synchronization

    Hi Guys:
I am trying to synchronize my home sqlserver database with a database on my web hosting company. I am not really sure how to go about it, any suggestions?

    Thanks

If the hosted database is SQL Server, a dump and restore would be the best answer.

DTS will always work (even if the hosted database uses a different engine), albeit a bit slower.

Thanks Pat for the quick response, when you say dump you mean BackUp and then restore it on the web hosting database right? And yes the database on the web hosting is also sql server.
Also I need to synchronize the database very often, because the database at my home is the live database and gets updated all day. So what is your suggestion in this regard.
    Thanks

Describe "live" in a bit more detail. That doesn't make sense to me.

IF the hosting company supports replication, that would seem to be the best answer to me. Your latency could be very small (quite possibly under a minute). Without some flavor of VPN, this is very unlikely, but it sounds like it would be worth investigating.
