    Exclamation Unanswered: Merging a form with Word


    Can anyone tell me if it's possible to merge data from a Form to a Word doc and if so how?

    Ideally what I would like is a button that once clicked on, the user has a choice of 3 different Word docs (stored on a local directory). When one of these is selected the letter will merge with the name, address data held on the form.

    Any ideas?

    The doc file will be mail merged with a query (you'll want criteria in your query to reference a field(s) on the form to filter the results). The button will open the doc file.

    Is there a reason that you're using a word merge instead of an access report?
