    Unanswered: Setup Failed!

    I am getting the below error message while trying to install sql 2000 on win2k sp3 server.

    Did you install SQL on this box before?

    Yes I had sql 6.5 and sql 2000 installed. Uninstalled both of them and now trying to do a fresh install.

    Installing win2k sp4 and mdac 2.8 solved the problem. Also deleted all the mssql registry keys
