    Thumbs up

Depends on a lot of things like Oracle version, unix OS version, etc
If you provide specific information, maybe we can be more specific in answering.

Generally what you do is for example (in Korn shell case )

This is a file called load_parts_table.sh

    #!/bin/ksh
    #
    # Load the parts table with data
    #

    sqlldr scott/tiger silent=header,feedback,errors,discards control='parts.ctl' log='parts.log'
    #
    # END

This is a file called parts.ctl

    load data
    infile 'parts.dat'
    into table parts
    fields terminated by '|'
    (part_no,part_name)

And if you have a file called parts.dat

    00001|hammers
    00002|tongs
    00003|bolts

Then going to the directory where you have all these 3 files and if you have execute permissions, then
    . ./load_parts_table.sh

should load the data into the parts table.Hope this helps
