Unanswered: SQL Server scrub learning Oracle

Anybody with SQL Server/Oracle experience able to recommend a good book for learning Oracle?
If it's not practically useful, then it's practically useless.

As a dev I've found O'Reilly's oracle books to be very helpfull. I can't vouch for their DBA related material but it might be worth a look.

    what version?

    There are few out there...

    http://www.oracle-books.com/

Oracles got loys of cool concepts though...

    %TYPE don't have to define a datatype

    reference cursors...no data movement...

    DBMS Utilities..

No Unload utility like bcp...SQLLOader though which is simpler than bcp (well not anymore)

CONNECT BY...gets rid of the heirarchy problem...

Nested Tables...never used them but pretty cool

in 8i...NO CASE...ahhhhhh...have to learn the painful DECODE...

    GOOD LUCK Blind dude....

The physical order of data in a database has no meaning.
