I'm using AnsiNPW=No when opening a direct connection using SQL Server 2000. The varchar strings still are returned with spaces padded to the total length of the declare varchar. Does AnsiNPW work in SQL 2000? Another way I found to get the varchar trimmed is creating the tables with 'Set Ansi_Padding off'. But I don't like this. I prefer to use the connection route to trim the space to the righit on varchar's.

Thanks,

Jgs
