    Unanswered: access keeps crashing

    I have a form open in design view. I click on save. Then I click on "Form View" and the darn application crashes. I click on debug and I get:

    "The instruction at "0x3000769e" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read".

    If I click save from design view. Close the form and then open it in form view I have no problem.

    Any suggestions...?

    Just one...

    - Open the form in design view;
    - Open the VB Editor to bring up the code window for that form;
    - From the menu, select Debug | Compile (top of the menu)

    This will most often tell you if there is a code error which can cause this problem (like a variable not declared or something).
