Unanswered: Connection from Sybase to Oracle

    Hello,

I want to connect to an Oracle DB from Sybase, to perform simply queries using tables from both databases.
I know than from Oracle to Sybase there are the Heterogeneous Services, but I don't know about Sybase to Oracle.
I' ve seen DirectConnect, but it's middleware. Is it any way to make the connection whitout it? Without installing any extra software but the Sybase standard? Is it possible to make it just with ODBC?

    Thank yo so much!

CIS won't work on it's own. CIS works in conjunction with Direct Connect to Oracle.
