Unhappy Unanswered: SQLServer2000 - Error Logs change Loc

The SqlServer2000 error logs go to Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\Mssql\Log directory by default.

How can I change their location. I could change SqlServerAgent logs but did not find any help or way to change the location of these. Would anyone please help?

    Thanks
    Vinnie

I never tried this one, but you can consider changing the path in Startup parameters option in Sql server properties.

If you right-click on the server in Enterprise Manager and go to Startup Parameters, you need to remove the -e entry and add a new one. -eC:\mssql\logs\ERRORLOG for example. The registry entry is: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSSQLServer\ MSSQLServer\Parameters\SQLArg1
