Unanswered: Why does this work in SQL and Not in Access?

    UPDATE allstocks SET exchange =,[todays date]= t.[todays date], ticker = t.ticker,[opened date] = t.[opened date], [closed date] = t.[closed date], [over/under] = t.[over/under] FROM todaysstocks, allstocks WHERE todaysstocks.ticker = allstocks.ticker INSERT INTO allstocks (exchange,transdate,ticker,[opened date],[closed date],[over/under]) SELECT,t.[todays date],t.ticker,t.[opened date], t.[closed date],t.[over/under] FROM todaysstocks t left join allstocks ON t.ticker = allstocks.ticker WHERE allstocks.ticker is null
