Unanswered: problem with installing postgres on windows

I am on my final step of installing postgres. Actually I already did, but its just initalizing is not working.

initdb -D /usr/share/postgresql/data command doesnt work..
at the end it gives me
    initdb: Failed

so I was wondering if anyone knows why.. or a site that i could refer to..

    thanks

Your user cannot have administrator privileges eg Administrator (win) root (Unix)

For Windows make your user a member of backup group and use that
