    Arrow Unanswered: number of records returned by a cursor

    Hi,
    How can we found what are the total number of records that are returned by a cursor.

    The only way is to fetch all the records, and see how many you get. The %ROWCOUNT attribute tells you how many rows have been fetched so far.

    Oracle does not know in advance of fetching the data how many rows there will be.
