Unanswered: Which And Parameters Type in Procedure ?

Hiyas. I have been searching through the web but couldn't find anything related. I would like to know what to query or how do I find out which parameters belong to a given stored procedure. Is there a view I can query which have this information ? or how do I find out ?

    Thanks!

The easiest way in SQL Plus is:

    SQL> DESC myproc

    or for a package:

    SQL> DESC mypackage

Dear andrewst, thank you for your reply. However, I was actually looking for a wider way as to how to obtain this information. DESC, afaik, is SQL*Plus dependant and I sure wouldn't be using it while wanting this information. Although I think since DESC at SQL*Plus have it, I understand there could be somehow a VIEW to find out this or do I have to do it looping through the PROCEDURE text ?

    Thank you!

Look at ALL_ARGUMENTS (or USER_ARGUMENTS) view.
